About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
Lead process mapping, root cause analysis, and future-state design initiatives
Develop and implement standardized procedures, best practices, and CI methodologies
Monitor operational performance using key metrics and dashboards
Lead initiatives from ideation through implementation and performance monitoring
Partner with business leaders to prioritize improvements aligned with strategic objectives
Evaluate opportunities to leverage automation, workflow technologies, and AI-powered tools
Conduct cost-benefit and impact analyses to validate and prioritize initiatives
Engage and coach stakeholders at all levels through process changes and new ways of working
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and improvement meetings
Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations and support communication of progress, risks, and outcomes
Build strong relationships and credibility across business units
Establish project governance and reporting frameworks; track benefits realization
Provide regular stakeholder updates on progress, risks, and opportunities
Support the development of a Business Process Improvement Centre of Excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of experience in business improvement, operational excellence, process improvement, business transformation, project management, or related roles
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex business environment
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies with Green or Black Belt; Certifications are assets
Background in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or regulated industries an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience facilitating workshops and leading change initiatives
Excellent communication and presentation skills, and demonstrated success influencing stakeholders without direct authority
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Experience with large or multi-function change management, workflow automation, or AI-enabled solutions will be considered an asset
