About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and lead IT due diligence and technology discovery activities for acquired brokerages.
- Identify IT risks, gaps, dependencies, and integration requirements within the acquisition environment.
- Serve as the primary IT contact during an acquisition, partnering with internal IT teams, project managers, external vendors, and the acquired broker.
- Coordinate access to existing broker systems for internal teams.
- Support IT integration planning and execution.
- Maintain up to date documentation that is aligned with BrokerLink standards.
- Coordinate end-user readiness activities.
- Support network cutover coordination by aligning internal teams and external vendors.
- Maintain accurate hardware and technology inventory.
- Support remediation of identified risks and ensure adherence to BrokerLink IT security standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience working in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure concepts.
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Ability to balance workload and manage competing priorities.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to speak about technical issues in a non-technical environment.
- Collaborative with various teams that are working towards a common goal.
- Experience with tracking Assets and Asset Management tools.
