About the role
- Execute and coordinate FIX connectivity onboarding and certification efforts for clients (3–10 years experience required)
- Interact with clients and tier 1 banks as a practitioner on electronic trading systems
- Execute certifications, manage certification troubleshooting, and track status
- Communicate issues and status to management and client stakeholders
- Navigate log files and perform troubleshooting in UNIX; handle complex configurations
- Interface with development, testing, deployment, and release processes to facilitate delivery of resilient solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality certification and onboarding
Requirements
- 3 to 10 years’ experience executing and coordinating FIX connectivity onboarding and certification efforts
- Programming/scripting knowledge (some programming knowledge needed; Perl or other scripting languages is a plus)
- Knowledge of FIX certification processes and a general understanding of the overall software development life cycle
- Experience interfacing with development, testing, deployment, and release processes, best practices, and tools
- Core understanding of the FIX onboarding and certification process with experience in equities and futures/options
- Understanding and experience with various Asset Classes and Trading Flows including Algos
- Knowledge of the Capital Markets industry and electronic trading flows
- Understanding of the delivery lifecycle including testing and certification
- Understanding of equities and futures transactions and the associated FIX messaging implementations
- Comfortable navigating log files and troubleshooting in UNIX and dealing with complex configurations
- BA or BS degree in CS, MIS, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, attention to details, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
