About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, Load Balancers and other networking equipment
Monitor and analyze network performance, traffic, and usage to identify and troubleshoot issues
Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to meet business needs
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network topology, configuration, and standard operating procedures
Ensure the security and integrity of network infrastructure by implementing appropriate security measures, such as firewalls and access control lists
Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies, standards, and best practices, and make recommendations for network improvements and enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-9 years of experience as a Network engineering role with Enterprise Network and Data Center Operations
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF and BGP
Strong understanding of Cisco Enterprise Wireless infrastructure, including configurations of WAP and management of WLC
Experience with network security technologies, such as PaloAlto firewalls and VPN
Experience with network Troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN switching, routing and firewall log analysis
Experience with network monitoring and management tools
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Industry certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are preferred
