Oversee daily tax services operations, including compliance, reporting, filings, reconciliations, and client deliverables.
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of all tax-related processes.
Establish, track, and report on KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics.
Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain robust operational controls and governance frameworks.
Partner with Tax, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
Lead monitoring and support of all tax-related systems and operational applications.
Ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance.
Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation processes.
Manage operational and technology-related projects, including regulatory changes, system implementations, process transformations, and automation initiatives.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations and project management team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
10+ years of experience in operations leadership within tax services, financial services, or regulated environments
Strong understanding of tax compliance processes and reporting cycles
Experience overseeing application monitoring and production support environments
Proven track record managing complex cross-functional projects
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
Experience with ERP systems, tax engines, workflow tools, and monitoring platforms
Strong knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks.
