Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, high-performance Java based applications in AWS
Work closely with the product/business organization on strategic planning to define product roadmaps and align with technical roadmaps
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers to promote best practices and continuous learning
Lead an Agile development team, while continuing to improve the Agile mindset and culture
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure

Requirements

Bachelor or Master's of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
16+ years of professional experience in Java development, with strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem
Experience leading technical teams on-shore and off-shore
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as MSK (Kafka), Elastic Search, EKS, ECS, Fargate, S3, Aurora Postgres, and Glue
Strong understanding of secure coding practices, relational databases, and DevOps
Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL is a plus
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
