About the role
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness and adherence to Agile principles.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize Jira to track team progress, manage sprint backlog, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments, removing blockers that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
- Champion Agile best practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, shift-left mindset, and incremental delivery, to optimize the development process and enhance product quality.
- Lead release management activities, coordinating with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployment of releases.
- Implement modern SDLC processes, including change and incident management, to maintain the stability and reliability of production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably computer science or similar)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
- Strong understanding of modern SDLC processes and tools, with experience in release management and change/incident management.
- Experience with Ticket creation, escalation, and SDLC management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Highly energetic and self-motivated, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture.
- Proficiency with Jira, custom filtering, and extensive reporting.
- Knowledge of Confluence or collaborating tools is desirable.
