About the role

  • Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies (e.g., Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat)
  • Analyze business and system requirements to develop effective and scalable technical solutions
  • Contribute within an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Debug, review, and maintain existing systems to ensure performance, stability, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, architects, and quality assurance professionals—to deliver production-ready features
  • Apply best practices in code quality, version control, and DevOps continuous integration
  • Optionally, use AWS for cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure management
  • Provide technical and knowledge sharing with team members

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Java development
  • Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle, Javascript, AWS (preferred)
  • Understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, frameworks (such as Spring or Hibernate), REST APIs, and relational databases
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) is a plus
  • Hands-on experience working in an Agile SDLC environment
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient, maintainable solutions
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting
  • Capable of managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision
