Own customer Engineering relationships
Be onsite at customers several times per week
Minimal travel outside customer support area
Drive best-in-class technical support at assigned customers
Assist customers in debugging test issues and collect test logs for analysis
Ability to replicate customer issues and assist with debug
Obtain insight into upcoming customer projects, schedules, and milestones
Work closely with Broadcom and customer Engineering during product definition, development, and into production
Help drive completion of customer RFPs and RFQs
Work in collaboration with sales/account management, and BU engineering and marketing teams
Conduct product presentations and demos to customers
Assist with product benchmarking and testing

Requirements

BSEE or equivalent technical degree
Minimum 12+ years relevant experience
Deep understanding of WiFi technologies and relevant industry standards
Strong hands-on experience with both software and hardware aspects of WLAN systems, with an emphasis on embedded software development (preferred)
Experience using Linux SW, debug modules (console) and use of WiFi diagnostic tools (iPerf, Wireshark etc…)
Experience with WiFi-related lab test equipment
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders
Proven ability to drive product solutions in close collaboration with engineering, development, and business teams
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-oriented approach to technical support.
