About the role
- Responsible for all activities leading to the collection of accounts receivable that are delinquent
- Utilize verbal and written communications with shopping center tenants
- Work closely with property managers, leasing managers, retailers and accountants
- Contact retail tenants on a daily basis for payment
- Resolve delinquent payment issues
- Send out default notices
- Reconcile retail tenant accounts, write offs etc
- Generate various receivables reports
- Provide bad debt recommendations
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- Reconciling of accounts receivable
- Requires 2+ yrs experience in real estate
- Excellent computer skills
- Above average experience with MS Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid time management skills with ability to prioritize and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests
- Self starter; able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Accounting and JD Edwards knowledge a plus
