About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the on-deck supervisor 3–4 evenings per week; resolve instructor, parent, and facility issues in real time.
  • Build meaningful connections with parents and students.
  • Enforce British Swim School safety protocols and water-survival curriculum.
  • Fill in to teach classes or serve as the lifeguard on duty when needed.
  • Promote reviews and referrals during parent interactions.
  • Process enrollments, transfers, cancellations, and make-up requests in Jackrabbit.
  • Answer calls, texts, and emails during office hours (Mon–Fri, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM) and log all interactions.
  • Respond to every new web/Facebook/phone inquiry within 15 minutes via call, text, or email.
  • Follow the British Swim School sales script to close enrollments.
  • Log all contacts and track lead stages in the CRM to measure conversion rates.
  • Create staff schedules, manage time-off requests, and approve payroll hours.
  • Lead monthly in-service training sessions.
  • Coach instructors on lesson quality and parent communication.
  • Maintain digital records for lifeguard/CPR credentials and schedule renewals.
  • Represent the school at local events and collect photos and stories for marketing.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 2 years in customer-facing roles; at least 1 year supervising or leading a small team.
  • Strong computer skills: Gmail, spreadsheets, and scheduling software (training provided for Jackrabbit).
  • Availability evenings and weekends; reliable transportation between Grand Prairie and Arlington.
  • Comfortable in and around water; able to lift 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Aquatics or youth program experience preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools preferred.
  • Current Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days).
