About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the direct equity valuation process for a growing portfolio of investments across the Bank.
- Help shape, maintain and document robust valuation processes, policies and controls that reflect statutory guidance, industry best practice and governance.
- Design, build and maintain robust financial models.
- Define data collection requirements, review company and portfolio-level valuation information.
- Prepare packs for quarterly valuation meetings.
- Work closely with investment, finance, business intelligence and governance teams, and act as a key contact for external auditors and other stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in financial asset valuation, IPEV guidelines or financial modelling would be useful, but is not essential.
- Experience of reporting to varied stakeholders.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical judgement and numeracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence with Microsoft tools.
