About the role
- Ensure investment assets, liabilities, incomes and expenditures are properly recorded and accounted for in the financial ledgers
- Provide support to the FC&G team in external financial reporting including production of the annual accounts
- Prepare statutory accounts for BBB Group subsidiaries and external entities
- Support the production of consolidated financial statements and interim accounts
- Conduct IFRS 9 classification assessments and reconcile Expected Credit Loss outputs
- Maintain and update accounting policies in line with regulatory changes
- Assist with audit and tax matters across the Group
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a technical accounting background
- Good current understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience in the production of consolidated financial statements
- Experience of working in a banking finance function (advantage)
- Experience of IFRS9 accounting (advantage)
