About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides technical leadership to portfolio delivery and is accountable for Statistical Programming delivery with high quality and efficiently.
  • Cluster Head proactively creates and implements delivery strategies to enable seamless delivery of projects.
  • Key decision maker across indication/disease area execution and delivery strategies related to both risk identification and effective mitigations for all Statistical Programming deliverables assigned.
  • Key partner to the Therapeutic Area Head in Stats Programming to ensure successful implementation of Statistical Programming strategies and efficient execution of the statistical analyses for an indication/disease area.
  • Functional management responsibilities including a leader of leaders.
  • Responsible for managing employees: set objectives, manage performance, and provide meaningful coaching and feedback.
  • Supports the evaluation and recruitment of potential employees and works with other Statistical Programming Therapeutic Heads on recruitment and retention.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MS with ~10+ years of industry related experience.
  • BS with ~12+ years of industry related experience.
  • Proven track record of leading business process transformations and organizational culture change as well as driving programming expertise on programs with complex business deliverables
  • Proven track record of attracting and retaining talent
  • Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with significant direct exposure to clinical development
  • Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficient knowledge of drug development process, clinical trial methodology, regulatory guidance, industry standards, statistical concepts, and medical terminology used in the analysis and submission of clinical data.
