About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee end-to-end operations of benefits programmes
Serve as a senior subject matter expert and consultant for others on the team
Partner with Benefit Strategists and product design to determine feasibility of proposed benefit additions
Implement operational changes; identify opportunities for process automation
Oversee and monitor benefit-related activities: eligibility, enrolments, status changes, claims
Manage renewals, enrolment windows, and annual activity calendars
Find trends coming from employee feedback and experiences
Interpret, communicate, and document benefit plan provisions and processes
Act as an escalation point for complex benefit issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of hand on experience in benefits administration
Experience with self-insured benefit plans or large, complex benefits programs required; Medicare and retirement knowledge preferred
Experience with benefits administration software and HRIS platforms required; familiarity with Workday and Benifex preferred
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project manager exposure
Ability to network and collaborate across a global organization
