About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with EDAPS Leaders to translate AIMS strategy into integrated portfolio plans, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies for priority assets
- Drive prioritization across assets and indications, balancing competing timelines, resources, and business needs
- Ensure portfolio execution is aligned to AIMS goals, Medical strategy, and organizational priorities
- Monitor progress and proactively address risks, gaps, and shifting priorities
- Act as a central connector across Medical, Early Clinical Development, Commercial, and external partners
- Partner closely with the PAS team and help manage key strategic initiatives and oversee Alliance budgets
- Build and maintain strong relationships to drive alignment on Medical objectives and priorities through key initiatives such as SPARC engagements in Early development, strategic framing of ED alliances
- Implement structured approaches for planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation across initiatives
- Enable effective leadership engagement and governance by preparing clear, decision-ready materials (e.g., LT meetings, QBRs, exchange forums)
- Provide ongoing visibility into portfolio progress, risks, and resource considerations
- Partner with Finance to support budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking, including facilitating key discussions with MPL
- Support strategic planning activities, including scenario planning and prioritization exercises
- Contribute to broader S&O and departmental initiatives (e.g., offsites, team engagements, communications)
- Influence without authority to drive alignment, accountability, and execution discipline
- Model strong leadership behaviors, including structured thinking, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication
- Help elevate project management capabilities and best practices across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical sciences or relevant discipline, advanced degrees preferred (MSc, PharmD, MBA)
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical research, development, medical affairs or commercialization with a focus on cross functional project management and or strategy/operations
- Oncology/Hematology experience strongly preferred and R&D experience desired
- Highly organized and motivated individual with the ability to work independently/effectively with cross functional teams.
- This position requires a solid understanding of drug development and Medical Affairs organization
- Experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, international teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact directly and productively with team members and management and to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities is also required.
- Ability to engage in complex scientific discussions to develop /summarize clear follow-up/action plans and execute.
- Strong experience with building relationships, leading strategic initiatives and programs, and collaborating across divisions with people of diverse business backgrounds and cultures.
- Comfort with ambiguity, driving change and innovation across the team.
