Develop a Category Strategy for enterprise Secondary Data and Analytics Services (sales data, claims data, health care data, real-world data, and analytics services).
Ensure close alignment to business priorities and functional objectives and execute sourcing initiatives that drive maximum value.
Develop, maintain and implement a 3–5-year strategic plan and lead major category initiatives including end to end process optimization and make / buy analysis.
Oversee execution of category strategies by multiple cross-functional & market teams, including sourcing and contracting; establish a global matrix team with clear roles and responsibilities.
Partner with BI&T and Commercial functions to manage various types of data and develop/implement data stewardship practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Define buying channels and purchasing policies, develop self-service processes and frameworks for business units to purchase against preferred suppliers and rate cards.
Support data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance.
Foster collaborative relationships with strategic global/regional suppliers via segmentation, KPI development, scorecards, contract management, and supplier development.
Requirements
Minimum education of a BA/BS required (quantitative area of study preferred).
MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of seven (7) years of business experience in Secondary Data related role or in a Procurement function is required.
Demonstrated working knowledge of change management and ability to execute change strategies.
Experience leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams.
Experience in Data acquisition and management aimed to solve business challenges, provide insights & identify opportunities for the Business is preferred.
