About the role

  • Lead Neurology Budget and Projection Activities and Support Portfolio Prioritization processes
  • Key business partner for Neurology leadership.
  • Lead budget and projection preparation, develop a deep understanding of study objectives and assumptions so these drivers can be translated into financial forecasts.
  • Perform robust analysis of changes in assumptions to understand and articulate variance drivers.
  • Drive planning of meetings and review with stakeholders so that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner and deadlines are met.
  • Lead Neurology monthly close activities, including P&L and Balance Sheet analyses, leveraging the Associate Directors R&D Portfolio Analysis colleagues and the Hyderabad team to support delivering on R&D objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of a BS/BA or equivalent is required.
  • MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of finance experience with significant exposure to financial reporting, internal controls, and technical accounting.
  • Proficiency with U.S. GAAP and general knowledge of business laws and regulations.
  • Ability to prepare and defend financial analyses to support decision making, investigate and conclude on complex accounting issues.
  • Must be able to present concisely and influentially in both oral and written format to all levels of management.
  • Ability to assess available resources, set priorities, and make informed decisions regarding the allocation of resources.
