About the role
- Lead end-to-end product design, from ideation to execution, ensuring engaging and user-centered experiences.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs based on user feedback, data, and business needs.
- Collaborate closely with our founding team, product designers, product managers, engineers, and educators to shape innovative learning solutions.
- Utilize a blend of user research, data analysis, and usability testing to drive design decisions.
- Be scrappy—move fast, challenge assumptions, and find creative ways to solve design problems with limited resources.
- Articulate design decisions effectively across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and enthusiasm.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product design and UX/UI.
- Previous work experience in an early-stage venture-backed company.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work and problem-solving capabilities.
- Expertise in Figma.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments with a bias for action.
- Ability to balance speed and quality—knowing when to perfect and when to ship.
- Strong understanding of user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
- A proactive approach to work and the ability to lead problem-finding and problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for education and improving teaching and learning experiences.
