About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and manage day-to-day execution of strategic operational projects and initiatives
- Establish project cadence to ensure cross-functional alignment
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, and implementation schedules
- Coordinate activities across multiple functional teams to complete deliverables on time
- Monitor project progress and identify and resolve project risks
- Communicate project status proactively and as required
- Support project implementation and ensure required documentation is complete
- Conduct project completion reviews to identify PMO best practices, challenges, and opportunities
- Partner with Operations, Security, HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Real Estate, other functional teams, and external vendors
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and without disruption
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience
- Demonstrated successful management of large projects valued at $0.5M to $2.0M in cost, revenue, or savings
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to establish strong relationships across all organizational levels
- Ability to work with minimal oversight
