About the role
- Overall responsibility for the Finance area, including functional and personnel leadership of two team members
- Act as a sparring partner to the CEO on financial and business matters
- Further develop the finance strategy to support company growth
- Lead and execute the budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning processes
- Build, develop and maintain KPIs and management reporting tools for management and team leads
- Monthly closings, consolidation of group companies and reporting under the Swiss Code of Obligations
- Responsibility for the annual financial statements and cooperation with auditors, banks and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with the finance teams of the Swiss Post Group on relevant reporting topics and finance projects
- Support the commercialization of new advertising products and the exploration of potential new markets
- Hands-on contribution to day-to-day finance operations
Requirements
- Solid education in finance / business administration (professional certificate, advanced professional exam, university/University of Applied Sciences degree or equivalent — we are deliberately open)
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role or a senior specialist position
- Confidence in preparing financial statements and solid knowledge of consolidation
- Interest in entrepreneurial topics beyond finance
- Additional training in analytics / Power BI is a plus
- Experience in a tech, digital or platform company is an advantage
- Fluent German and English; French is a plus
