About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop & implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
  • Work closely with senior management to understand and address organizational needs
  • Stay informed on labor laws and regulations, adapting policies accordingly
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication and addressing employee concerns
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring a harmonious workplace
  • Manage employee relations including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling
  • Manage, oversee, and improve existing performance evaluation processes to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and professional development
  • Take custody of new hire relationships from the in-house recruiting function and lead data gathering efforts
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop an onboarding schedule to transition the resource from “new hire” to “productive contributor”
  • Identify training needs and coordinate the development of training programs
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plan, and other benefits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in a mid-sized company, preferably in a professional services industry
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing data to drive decision making
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
