About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop & implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
- Work closely with senior management to understand and address organizational needs
- Stay informed on labor laws and regulations, adapting policies accordingly
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication and addressing employee concerns
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring a harmonious workplace
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling
- Manage, oversee, and improve existing performance evaluation processes to ensure alignment with company goals
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and professional development
- Take custody of new hire relationships from the in-house recruiting function and lead data gathering efforts
- Collaborate with department heads to develop an onboarding schedule to transition the resource from “new hire” to “productive contributor”
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development of training programs
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plan, and other benefits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in a mid-sized company, preferably in a professional services industry
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in gathering and analyzing data to drive decision making
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
