About the role

  • Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards based on business requirements.
  • Design, implement, and optimize data models and ETL processes to support BI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Power BI solutions by implementing quality assurance best practices.
  • Create documentation and provide training to end-users on the use of Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and BI technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (4-6 Years) as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • Microsoft certifications related to Power BI (e.g., DA-100: Analyzing Data with Power BI) would be a plus.
  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a bonus.
