About the role

  • Drive net new client acquisition (80%) and growth in dormant/existing accounts (20%)
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Insurance vertical
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Insurance domain offerings
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through lead generation, prospecting, and networking
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, negotiations, and deal closure
  • Establish and nurture relationships with CxO-level executives at target insurance firms
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging domain expertise to position Brillio’s solutions
  • Work closely with presales, delivery, and practice teams to craft compelling proposals
  • Partner with BFSI leadership to create IP, solutions, and thought leadership in Insurance

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of experience in IT services sales, with a proven track record in hunting new business
  • Strong understanding of Insurance industry (Life, P&C, Specialty), Insurtech trends, regulatory landscape, and emerging models like embedded insurance and usage-based insurance
  • Familiarity with platforms like Guidewire and Duck Creek is a plus
  • Hunting mindset and evidence of client acquisition is a major qualifier
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles (6–12 months) and multi-stakeholder negotiations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology. MBA is preferred.
