About the role

  • Lead Data-Driven Projects: manage the full lifecycle of data warehouse and analytics initiatives using PMI PMBOK
  • Drive Strategic Execution: oversee project planning, resource forecasting, risk mitigation, and delivery using PMBOK and Agile methodologies
  • Foster Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with clients, end users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and resolve issues
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: review deliverables, enforce standards, manage change control and contract compliance
  • Communicate and Collaborate: facilitate meetings, status reporting, and executive updates
  • Mentor and Inspire Teams: lead and motivate direct and matrixed resources, promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Work to make healthcare data accessible, secure, and actionable

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex data analytics or BI projects
  • Proven experience with data warehousing
  • Proven experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
  • Preferred: Master's degree in public health, Administration, or Data Analytics
  • Preferred: PMP or CBIP certification; Agile/Scrum experience
  • Preferred: Experience with Medicaid programs, MMIS, and federal reporting (e.g., CMS 64, T-MSIS)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Teradata, Informatica, SAS, Business Objects, Microsoft Project
  • Preferred: Experience managing contracts over $5M and leading change/risk management efforts
  • Ability to communicate and remain in a stationary position for extended periods; use of laptop computer
