About the role
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS
- Lead the year-end audit process and act as the main liaison with external auditors and accounting service providers
- Ensure compliance with MiCA, AML/CFT, and tax regulations, maintaining complete and accurate records for regulatory filings
- Supervise accounting for crypto-asset transactions
- Implement and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and reporting automation
- Support the CFO in group consolidation, liquidity reporting, and management reporting
- Coordinate intercompany accounting for Lithuanian, Swiss, and UK entities
- Monitor updates to accounting, tax, and crypto-related regulations, ensuring company readiness and compliance.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- At least 2 years in a senior or chief accountant role
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or local equivalent) is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of Lithuanian accounting standards, IFRS, and tax legislation
- Experience working in a financial institution, fintech, or crypto-asset company preferred
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple entities
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian (both written and spoken) required.
