About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, establish, and grow relationships with key referral partners across healthcare, criminal justice, and community organizations
- Conduct regular partner visits and check-ins to strengthen relationships and increase referral volume
- Serve as a reliable resource for referral partners, ensuring smooth access to treatment for patients
- Execute daily prospecting, visits, calls, and follow-ups to achieve referral and census goals
- Map and manage a defined territory, prioritizing high-value accounts and tracking touchpoints
- Apply sales techniques including objection handling, pipeline management, and account growth strategies
- Track activities and results through CRM and produce accurate reporting on outreach effectiveness
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly outreach metrics related to referral generation and admissions
- Develop knowledge of BrightView’s services and communicate patient pathways effectively
- Represent BrightView at networking events, conferences, and community meetings
- Educate stakeholders on substance use disorder treatment and BrightView’s patient-first approach
- Share field insights to support organizational planning and market strategy
- Develop account plans and territory strategies to maximize referral growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated persistence and goal achievement in sales, outreach, or performance-driven roles
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred sales, account management, or customer-facing experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or criminal justice settings
- Preferred knowledge of addiction medicine or behavioral health industry
- Willingness to learn sales planning, objection handling, and conversion strategies
- Ability to consistently deliver daily outreach commitments and achieve activity targets
- Ability to seek feedback and adapt strategies
- Strong ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and build rapport
- Ability to map accounts, prioritize opportunities, and plan sales approaches
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools (trainable)
- Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory
