About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consistently provide primarily independent therapy sessions for patients diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders.
- Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on the needs of the clinic’s patient population and caseload, aligned with scientific best-practice guidelines.
- Demonstrate competency for individual counseling, offering occasional individual counselor sessions as appropriate.
- Assist with treatment planning and reviewing progress towards treatment plan goals.
- Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
- Carry and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
- Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
- Ensure adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.
- Attend required meetings including but not limited to all on-site staff meetings, supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Occasional training/onboarding support for new hire Counselor I. Training, onboarding, and mentorship support for new hire counselors within the site or adjacent clinics.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum independently licensed.
- Masters degree
