Public Sector Account Executive
BrightspeedMid-Market Account Executive responsible for generating new sales and maintaining customer relationships at Brightspeed. Focus on selling full line of internet products and services to prospective customers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive growth through new logo acquisition within an assigned territory
- Drive new business with prospective accounts (zero billers)
- Responsible for selling the company’s products and services via telephone/web conference using a solution-based and consultative sales approach
- Qualify leads, identify decision makers, determine customer needs, explain product/service variations, overcome customer objections and close sales
- Responsible for updating relevant customer information - including sales funnel activity, opportunity updates, maintenance of monthly goals, customer proposals and customer contracts
- Provide superior service with every customer interaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma, GED or equivalent education and 2 years of sales experience
- Prior sales experience with a history of new market growth acquisition in a telecom sales environment
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical problem solving and closing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
