About the role
- Coordinate with internal teams to present the buried service program to municipalities
- Host calls, collect permitting contacts, and document permit requirements and processes
- Identify potential permitting issues early and drive resolution before construction begins
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with permitting entities
- Serve as the liaison between permitting entities, engineering and buried service teams
- Partner with engineering teams to identify and resolve roadblocks that impact progress
- Facilitate communication with vendors and permitting authorities to ensure issues are addressed
- Track aging and priority permits; engage permitting entities to move reviews forward
Requirements
- 2–5 years of telecom, construction, engineering, permitting, or project coordination experience
- Strong understanding of permitting processes, construction workflows, or telecom / fiber deployment
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify potential barriers early and proactively address them
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with build teams and vendors
