About the role

  • Manage credit granting process and ensure consistent application of credit policy
  • Conduct periodic credit reviews of existing customers and assess creditworthiness of prospects
  • Analyze, evaluate, and report on company credit activities
  • Develop and enhance risk assessments, credit policies, and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with credit policies and internal controls
  • Support credit screening strategy, fraud prevention, and vendor relationships
  • Field issues from internal customers and respond to inquiries
  • Assess service provider performance and validate SLA metrics
  • Provide input and recommendations on credit policies and collaborate with legal/compliance
  • Process, document, and track bankruptcy notifications and related credits
  • Obtain and file proofs of claim for commercial bankruptcies and provide bankruptcy analysis
  • Manage interactions with outside collection agencies, process disputes, and track invoices
  • Track and analyze outside collection agency performance

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Credit Analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to communicate with senior management with judgement and discretion
  • Relationship-building and strong listening skills
  • Competence, professionalism, and leadership presence
  • Objective, ethical, and free from undue influence
  • Collaborative, strategic, and well-organized
  • Ability to learn complex systems, process quickly, and train others
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (bonus)
  • Telecommunications industry experience (bonus)
