About the role
- Analyze, design and optimize cross-functional processes and workflows across the enterprise
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization and digital solutions, including AI
- Build and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap aligned to strategic business goals
- Evaluate, redesign and map processes in customer service, billing, sales, field operations, finance, HR, and IT
- Drive automation, digitization, and workflow orchestration for efficiency, cost reduction, and improved experience
- Partner with department heads to identify pain points and high-impact opportunities for process transformation and tailored technology solutions
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and digital enablement
- Perform quality testing on key operational and enterprise data and certify data used in dashboards and reports
- Manage SOX testing, control evaluations, remediation, and documentation for IT general and application controls
- Promote enterprise data governance policies and partner with data stewards and owners to improve governance maturity
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in operational excellence
- Support technology audits and data certification initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Accounting or related field
- 7+ years in business process improvement/engineering, operations or transformation roles
- 3+ years in managerial or team leadership role
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex process improvement projects
- Strong skills in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills
- IT audit, Compliance, or Technology experience
- Data certification experience
- Experience with various technologies, including networks, platforms, and applications
- Ability to cultivate channels of communication to effectively influence key stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated understanding of SOX, COSO, COBIT, NIST, and OWASP
- Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and system integration controls
- Knowledge of risk assessment and familiarity with tools and techniques used to provide control and monitoring mechanisms
- Bonus: Experience in telecom
- Bonus: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
- Bonus: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DataPlex experience
- Bonus: 2 years of experience in IT Audit
