About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process and apply customer payments accurately in NetSuite
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to reduce DSO
- Generate and review invoices for accuracy and contract compliance
- Support month-end close activities related to AR and deferred revenue
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for AR, billing, and subscription metrics
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare management reports and presentations to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and improve reporting accuracy
- Track renewals, cancellations, and adjustments in NetSuite
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and support subscription-reporting automation initiatives
- Validate invoice tax calculations and jurisdictional compliance
- Assist with monthly SST filings and maintain accurate tax records
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in AR, billing, and reporting workflows
- Recommend and implement data-driven process improvements
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in AR, billing, or business analysis roles
- Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred
- Strong understanding of subscription billing and revenue recognition principles
- Knowledge of SST compliance and tax reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools preferred
- Experience with automation tools and dashboards preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines preferred
