About the role
- brightfin is looking for a knowledgeable and proficient IT System Administrator to be a critical part of our growing IT team.
- This position will have a wide range of responsibilities, and ample opportunity to grow professionally.
- We are looking for an experienced IT administrator and manager, who is eager to take on complex and challenging projects involving market-leading SaaS infrastructure services and back-end systems.
- Experienced System Administrator who can help manage remote endpoint devices and Cloud infrastructure / Cloud SaaS Platforms.
- Should be experienced to self-manage implementation technology projects, and accomplish all tasks in a timely manner, meeting project deadlines.
- Must be able to create process level documentation, and end user documentation.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, and in a timely manner, not limited to Teams, Email, and Ticketing System.
- Must be willing to self manage ticketing system, and resolve tickets based on SLA (Service Level Agreements).
- Must be willing to setup physical laptop endpoints and ship them in a timely manner.
- Must be willing to produce weekly and monthly technology reports based on company needs.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in the following laptop endpoint OS (Windows 11, MacOS)
- Must be proficient in the following server endpoint OSs (Windows Server 2012 and Above)
- Linux server experience would be a plus
- Must be proficient in Windows Domain Infrastructure, FMSO, and Windows Licensing
- Must be proficient in managing Microsoft 365 User provisioning, group permissions, MFA
- Professional certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner) is an asset
- Experienced System Administrator with cloud infrastructure knowledge such as AWS and Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Managing Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Exchange, and Conditional Access)
- Preferred experience with SaaS Tools such as DLP (Data Loss Protection), MDM, RMM type tools to manage both server and user endpoints.
- Experience with Netskope and Ninja One are a plus
- Troubleshooting both laptop and server endpoints in a remote first setting.
- Experience patching endpoints on a weekly and monthly cycle.
- Diligently managing technology certificates and renewals in a timely manner.
- Experienced with writing both PowerShell and Bash scripts to manage cloud infrastructure, and endpoints.
- Experience writing MacOS Bash scripts is a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM is a plus.
- Experience providing technical and process controls in one or more Security / Compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, NIST) is a plus.
