About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage across the full sales cycle, from discovery through to proposal and close
- Make sure every prospect conversation is led by someone who understands their world
- Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities
- Lead technical consultative discovery sessions
- Own product knowledge and maintain deep expertise across Bright’s suite
- Translate customer insights into feedback for Product
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and market trends
- Support a smooth handover to Implementation and Customer Success post-sale
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-sales materials
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in an accountancy or payroll SaaS environment
- A consultative, solution-oriented approach
- Strong listening and discovery skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Confident in navigating multiple software products
- Demonstrable ability to translate complex product knowledge into accessible narratives
- Proven track record of building credibility and trust with stakeholders
- Curiosity about software functionality and product experience
- Familiarity with Bright’s product suite is a plus
- Background in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau is advantageous
- Exposure to AI-assisted workflows or tools is nice to have
