About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage across the full sales cycle, from discovery through to proposal and close
  • Make sure every prospect conversation is led by someone who understands their world
  • Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities
  • Lead technical consultative discovery sessions
  • Own product knowledge and maintain deep expertise across Bright’s suite
  • Translate customer insights into feedback for Product
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and market trends
  • Support a smooth handover to Implementation and Customer Success post-sale
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-sales materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in an accountancy or payroll SaaS environment
  • A consultative, solution-oriented approach
  • Strong listening and discovery skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Confident in navigating multiple software products
  • Demonstrable ability to translate complex product knowledge into accessible narratives
  • Proven track record of building credibility and trust with stakeholders
  • Curiosity about software functionality and product experience
  • Familiarity with Bright’s product suite is a plus
  • Background in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau is advantageous
  • Exposure to AI-assisted workflows or tools is nice to have
