About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help the Product team with different parts of the Bright Machines automation software stack
Provide Market Research support on various topics that are top of mind for the Product team
Help define the product roadmap and assist with discussions with both internal and external stakeholders, partners and customers
Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of quality products on time and according to specifications
Evaluate new applications, use cases, proofs-of-concept and prioritize product roadmap in a data-driven manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years of Embedded systems, Robotics and/or Mechatronics product development experience ideally in a manufacturing setting - any computer science/ embedded controls and electronics experience can be considered in lieu
Some experience in hardware and software product lifecycles, specifically computer server design processes and NTI/NPI processes
At least some relevant experience in industrial software product management
Ability to understand complex hardware systems and industrial robotics
Working in a matrix environment: collaboration with R&D, systems engineering and field support
Have a system view and be customer-centric
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical, Computer Science or Mechatronics Engineering degree
