About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end design for a product stream, from problem framing through detailed UI execution and post-launch iteration
  • Design AI-powered experiences, including conversational interfaces, AI-generated insights, and agent interactions
  • Translate complex workflows and data-heavy domains into clear, intuitive interfaces
  • Lead discovery and research activities, including interviews, usability tests, and workflow mapping
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering partners to shape product direction and roadmap decisions
  • Iterate designs based on technical feasibility and monitor work through execution
  • Build and contribute to a shared design system
  • Use data and analytics to validate design decisions, identify friction points, and measure impact
  • Develop deep expertise in Bridgit's data, workflows, and users' mental models

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of product design experience in a web-based SaaS environment
  • Experience working within an agile team alongside engineers and product managers
  • Compelling portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership from research and problem framing through polished, shipped UI
  • Proven experience with AI-powered products and shipped AI features
  • Ability to address AI design challenges including user expectations, uncertainty, and human control
  • Fluency with complex, data-dense products and information-heavy workflows
  • Systems-thinking approach across flows, edge cases, and the broader product experience
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach; willingness to share work early, welcome critique, and iterate
  • Strong communication skills for articulating design rationale to engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
