About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end design for a product stream, from problem framing through detailed UI execution and post-launch iteration
Design AI-powered experiences, including conversational interfaces, AI-generated insights, and agent interactions
Translate complex workflows and data-heavy domains into clear, intuitive interfaces
Lead discovery and research activities, including interviews, usability tests, and workflow mapping
Collaborate with product managers and engineering partners to shape product direction and roadmap decisions
Iterate designs based on technical feasibility and monitor work through execution
Build and contribute to a shared design system
Use data and analytics to validate design decisions, identify friction points, and measure impact
Develop deep expertise in Bridgit's data, workflows, and users' mental models

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of product design experience in a web-based SaaS environment
Experience working within an agile team alongside engineers and product managers
Compelling portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership from research and problem framing through polished, shipped UI
Proven experience with AI-powered products and shipped AI features
Ability to address AI design challenges including user expectations, uncertainty, and human control
Fluency with complex, data-dense products and information-heavy workflows
Systems-thinking approach across flows, edge cases, and the broader product experience
Collaborative, low-ego approach; willingness to share work early, welcome critique, and iterate
Strong communication skills for articulating design rationale to engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders
Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
