About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end design for a product stream, from problem framing through detailed UI execution and post-launch iteration
- Design AI-powered experiences, including conversational interfaces, AI-generated insights, and agent interactions
- Translate complex workflows and data-heavy domains into clear, intuitive interfaces
- Lead discovery and research activities, including interviews, usability tests, and workflow mapping
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering partners to shape product direction and roadmap decisions
- Iterate designs based on technical feasibility and monitor work through execution
- Build and contribute to a shared design system
- Use data and analytics to validate design decisions, identify friction points, and measure impact
- Develop deep expertise in Bridgit's data, workflows, and users' mental models
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of product design experience in a web-based SaaS environment
- Experience working within an agile team alongside engineers and product managers
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership from research and problem framing through polished, shipped UI
- Proven experience with AI-powered products and shipped AI features
- Ability to address AI design challenges including user expectations, uncertainty, and human control
- Fluency with complex, data-dense products and information-heavy workflows
- Systems-thinking approach across flows, edge cases, and the broader product experience
- Collaborative, low-ego approach; willingness to share work early, welcome critique, and iterate
- Strong communication skills for articulating design rationale to engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders
- Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
