About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead client implementations of proprietary software from project kick-off through go-live and transition to support
Manage communications, escalations, and expectations with internal and external stakeholders
Develop project plans and monitor and update schedules, budgets, and project estimates
Ensure on-time and in-budget project delivery and accurately forecast project financials
Monitor, evaluate, and predict resources needed to reach objectives
Manage scope against contract deliverables, maintain margin objectives, and meet billable utilization objectives
Identify project risks affecting budget, timeline, and efficiency and develop mitigation strategies
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Participate in process improvement activities to increase efficiency and speed to market
Perform risk management analysis
Collaborate across professional services, sales, support, engineering, and technical services/hosting
Lead requirement gathering, estimating, and proposal creation
Define requirements and coordinate handoff and integration with engineering
Coordinate training and knowledge transfer to Client Services
Track project portfolio performance against key metrics and recommend efficiencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years’ experience planning and managing the implementation of enterprise-level software or IT consulting projects for external stakeholders, including ownership of budget and schedule
Ability to work on challenging projects that require creativity and prioritizing workloads
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness
Knowledge of Agile Scrum projects, methods, and principles
Experience managing projects using an online professional services automation solution such as AdaptiveWork/PlanView or SmartSheet
Strong MS Office skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), preferred
