About the role

  • Assume responsibility for the daily management and control of tire-related technical issues in the field within a region.
  • Work within a small technical team, manage your own workload and be accountable for product quality and performance.
  • Prioritize and manage the workload within your region, including assessing product quality.
  • Visit selected users and monitor, analyze, and report on tire performance characteristics.
  • Coordinate your activities with commercial managers across all product groups.
  • Work with the MTE Team Leader and/or the Technical Director and take ownership of the regional action plan.
  • Carry out any reasonable technical task at the discretion of the MTE Team Leader or Technical Director, as required.
  • Support the sales force and relevant field professionals for all product groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (automotive engineering, etc.) or equivalent
  • Ideally, more than 5 years of hands-on technical experience in the tire, automotive, transportation industry, or a related technical field
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize
  • Ability to work outdoors in all conditions to collect important GEMBA data
  • Flexible working schedule – availability to work weekends
  • Professional/Fluent English.
