About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide patients/care partners with access and affordability support for Attruby
- Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial, Training, Brand Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Commercial Analytics, Commercial IT, Pharmacovigilance, and other stakeholders
- Ensure a compliant, positive patient journey
- Evaluate and implement patient access opportunities within the assigned geographic area
- Resolve access and affordability issues by phone or face-to-face
- Direct access support between consented patients and hubs, pharmacies, prescribers’ offices, and support organizations
- Coordinate missing-information follow-ups with the hub partner
- Manage relationships between ForgingBridges and consented patients
- Onboard and welcome patients to the ForgingBridges support program
- Manage patient status changes and follow up with patients/care partners, prescribers’ offices, and pharmacies
- Ensure ForgingBridges business rules are followed
- Control information and communications workflow with consented patients
- Collaborate with Patient Advocacy and attend advocacy meetings/events
- Facilitate and present in-person patient/care-partner education
- Report compliant insights and findings to Brand Marketing and internal Commercial functions
- Handle protected health information according to BridgeBio policy
- Attend national sales meetings, conferences, and regional events as needed
- Complete assigned Market Access/Patient Support Services projects
- Provide strategic and tactical input for continuous improvement
- Develop and execute tactical plans supporting access imperatives and role metrics
- Travel domestically 40–60%, regionally and intermittently across the US
- Perform additional assigned responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5-8 years of Biotech/Pharma experience; patient services, Market Access, and hub experience preferred
- Cardiology or Rare Disease experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Confidence building rapport with patients/care partners
- Strong foundation and experience working closely with patient support programs including copay, cost sharing programs, affordability design, and hub models for medical and pharmacy benefit products
- Understanding of specialty market, buy and bill, retail market, reimbursement/access challenges, and OIG/CMS/legal guidelines for offering patient support programs
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop sound strategies and tactics for patient access
- Superior oral and written communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Previous PAL/FAM experience is a plus
- Extremely detail oriented for creating and managing program documents
- Experience establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with families, patients, and key decision-makers
- Ability to reside in Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Denver is preferred by the posting
