About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the identification, profiling, tiering, and strategic mapping of KOLs across endocrinology, rare disease, and genetics communities relevant to ADH1 and encaleret
  • Build and maintain a robust national KOL engagement plan, with regional focus aligned to territory geography (East or West)
  • Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with academic thought leaders, community endocrinologists, and rare disease specialists who influence ADH1 diagnosis and management
  • Lead commercial advisory board development and execution to surface field insights and inform brand strategy
  • Support the development and management of the encaleret speaker bureau, including structure, speaker identification and training, and innovative delivery formats
  • Lead KOL engagement planning and execution for major endocrinology and rare disease congresses (ENDO, AACE, NORD, and others)
  • Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure appropriate field presence and KOL interaction at scientific congresses, consistent with compliance guidelines
  • Develop relationships with professional societies relevant to hypoparathyroidism and ADH1, identifying opportunities for disease education and collaborative programming
  • Serve as the commercial field lead for advancing awareness of ADH1 as a distinct clinical entity, distinguishing it from other forms of hypoparathyroidism
  • Proactively gather and synthesize KOL insights on CaSR gain-of-function testing, diagnostic pathways, and unmet needs in ADH1 management — feeding these insights back into commercial and marketing strategy
  • Partner with the Endocrine Account Manager (EAM) field team to align KOL engagement priorities with HCP outreach and territory activation
  • Monitor the competitive and scientific landscape, including evolving clinical practice guidelines, emerging data, and relevant publication activity
  • Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy to ensure coordinated and compliant KOL engagement across functions
  • Collaborate with agency partners on the development of educational resources and KOL programming materials
  • Develop targeted KPI frameworks and measurement plans; track progress against engagement goals and report to Sr. Director, Head of Marketing
  • Champion compliance in all KOL engagement activities, ensuring alignment with BridgeBio policies, OIG guidelines, and applicable regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in commercial roles (KOL engagement, marketing, sales leadership, or medical affairs)
  • Demonstrated experience engaging endocrinology KOLs and/or rare disease thought leaders at the national and regional level
  • Deep familiarity with the endocrinology landscape, including academic medical centers, endocrine professional societies, and relevant disease communities
  • Proven ability to design and execute KOL engagement strategies, advisory boards, and speaker bureau programs in a compliant, outcomes-driven manner
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable operating in a matrixed environment across commercial, medical, and access functions
  • High-level strategic thinking with the ability to convert field insights into actionable commercial strategy
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a patient-first orientation — rare disease experience in a launch-stage or early commercial environment is strongly valued
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven self-starter capable of operating independently with strong accountability and organizational discipline.
