System Administrator

• Own the day‑to‑day administration of NetSuite, with a strong emphasis on accounting and finance usage
• Ensure NetSuite configuration supports:
• Accurate accounting
• Month‑end close
• Multi‑entity reporting
• Strong internal controls
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and segregation of duties in line with finance governance requirements
• Configure and optimise workflows, forms, fields, and accounting‑driven business rules
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and accounting accuracy across NetSuite modules
• Support the rollout of NetSuite into Africa and Asia, adapting the system to regional operational and accounting needs
• Understand local processes and constraints
• Align NetSuite usage with accounting best practice
• Act as a bridge between Finance and Systems, ensuring NetSuite genuinely supports accounting outcomes
• Review and improve end‑to‑end accounting processes including:
• Record‑to‑Report
• Procure‑to‑Pay
• Order‑to‑Cash (where relevant)
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or strengthen accounting processes through NetSuite configuration
• Support accurate accruals, journals, reconciliations, and reporting workflows
• Provide hands‑on functional support to Finance, Operations, and regional teams
• Translate accounting and process requirements into effective NetSuite configurations
• Troubleshoot NetSuite issues with a strong understanding of accounting impact
• Support testing, UAT, and controlled deployment of changes
• Work closely with external NetSuite partners where required, owning requirements from a finance perspective
• Support existing integrations (e.g. payroll, banking, CRM) with a focus on accounting integrity
• Assist with NetSuite releases, upgrades, and regression testing
• Ensure changes are well‑controlled, documented, and aligned with finance governance
• Escalate complex technical issues appropriately, while retaining ownership of business outcomes
• Maintain and enhance saved searches, reports, and dashboards for finance and accounting users
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and auditability across entities and regions
• Maintain clear system documentation, configuration records, and process guides
• Support audit and control requirements related to ERP usage and financial reporting.
