About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Clinical Coordinator coordinates and manages all clinical rotations, placements and credentialing aspects of this role.
- Provides support for the Director, Undergraduate Chair, Office Manager, Faculty and Students of the School of Nursing.
- Works closely and collaborates with the Director of Operations, nursing school Director, Chairs, and Coordinators.
- Reports directly to the Director of Operations for the Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing.
- Maximizes efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Analyzes current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
- Builds and maintains relationships with schools and departments across the Ivester College of Health Sciences, external partners, and vendors.
- Coordination and planning in all aspects of the clinical phase of Nursing programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s preferred, prior experience in clinical setting preferred.
- Must have knowledge that includes an understanding of the educational objectives and experiences of student nurses.
- An understanding of the clinical practice of nursing.
- Knowledge of the diverse organizational environments in which nurses practice.
- Knowledge of the types of clinical sites needed to meet course content and objectives.
