Key responsibilities & impact

Patrolling Security officers patrol the university campus by foot, golf cart, or in a patrol unit.
Security Officers are responsible for the safety of the university community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Security officers respond to reports of incidents, such as suspicious activity or security violations.
Security officers enforce campus rules and regulations, such as parking, smoking, and alcohol and drug use.
Security officers may direct traffic and parking.
Security officers may provide crowd control or other security services for special events.
Security officers may act as a liaison between the university and local law enforcement.
Security officers may also perform custodial and maintenance duties, provide information and directions, and maintain records.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years in Law Enforcement or Security experience preferred.
Post-Certified highly preferred.
