About the role

  • - Lead and manage IT and digital solution projects from initiation through to delivery, with a particular focus on quote-to-cash systems.
  • - Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • - Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Breedon Group, ensuring alignment with group processes, systems, and culture.
  • - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for digital transformation projects, ensuring they meet organisational objectives.
  • - Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, actively monitoring progress and managing risks.
  • - Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to support change management and adoption of new systems.
  • - Prepare regular project status reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
  • - Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology to deliver business value.

Requirements

  • - Proven experience working as both a Project Manager and a Business Analyst in IT and digital transformation projects, ideally within the construction, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • - Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and business analysis techniques.
  • - Experience implementing quote-to-cash, logistics and/or construction ERP software solutions is highly desirable.
  • - Demonstrated success in integrating acquired businesses and managing change in a complex organisational environment.
  • - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • - Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid working model, balancing remote and office-based activities.
  • - Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • - Familiarity with Irish business practices and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  • Qualifications
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • - Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and/or Business Analysis qualification (e.g., IIBA, BCS) preferred.
