About the role
- Be the primary contact for For Profit clients, ensuring exceptional service
- Assess financial processes and recommend improvements
- Ensure accurate financial reporting including reconciliations, month-end entries
- Discuss financial results with clients and identify opportunities for growth
- Manage workflow and timelines effectively
- Mentor and review work of junior accountants and bookkeepers
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in small to mid-size business accounting/bookkeeping
- QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience within the last 5 years
- Resourceful and able to explain complex financial concepts clearly
- Bonus points for experience in bookkeeping or accounting for multiple entity/company clients, automotive repair industry, internal or external audits, Xero, Sage or other accounting systems, advanced tech-savvy skills
