About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform data analysis using PowerBI, SAP WebIntelligence, Excel, and other tools
- Generate standardized and ad-hoc reports and analytic presentations
- Analyze sales metrics and identify opportunities using internal and syndicated data
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Research market trends and conduct gap and competitor analysis
- Identify growth, innovation, and competitive opportunities to drive revenue, profitability, and market share
- Prepare Quarterly Business Reviews, “Top to Top” decks, business review materials, and ad-hoc requests
- Collaborate with leaders to develop business plans and track initiatives
- Prepare sales plans, business reviews, and performance assessments
- Develop metrics for key initiatives and track channel performance
- Provide survey analysis to inform strategies
- Partner with revenue management and demand planning teams to analyze pricing models and manage inventory levels
- Produce sales materials and assist with presentations for business reviews and planning meetings
- Administer sales incentive plans and ensure performance tracking and reporting align with company standards and supplier partnership expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analytics, business planning and/or equivalent analytics role
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and various computer programs, including presentation software
- Results-oriented professional with verbal and written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
- Customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Analytic and reporting skills
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
- Preferred: proficiency in Excel and analytical system tools/databases such as SAP WEBI/BOBJ, PowerBI, Connected Excel, TABS Analytics, Nielsen, and similar tools
- Preferred: experience leveraging syndicated, consumer, shopper research, and/or category management data
- Preferred: sales or marketing experience with a major CPG company
- Must remain in a stationary position at times and be able to communicate and operate a computer and telephone
