About the role
- Manage the Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, customer aging analysis, and cash application
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries to support accurate and timely reporting
- Lead general ledger reconciliations and financial analysis across entity and project-level balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, contributing to high-quality reporting for internal and external reporting packages
- Oversee bank reconciliations and with detailed reviews of account balances
- Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting, developing supporting materials and improving visibility into financial performance
- Enhance internal controls and compliance processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and operational efficiency
- Directly assist the Controller, providing high-level administrative and analytical support
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience with accounting enterprise systems and expense management software
- Strong foundation in journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger management
- Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Ramp.
- Experience working in live events, entertainment, or festival finance is a plus.
