About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create exemplary prototypes and experiences, balancing user needs, constraints of technology, brand values, and KPIs
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design vision is implemented effectively
Collaborate with our user researcher to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in financial services
Apply critical thinking to problem solve through design, testing assumptions
Collaborate with the Design Manager to support the growth and governance of Bread’s Design System

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Centered Design, Product Design or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
5+ years product design experience leading design projects and creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes independently
experience using product design tools, including Figma, inVision, and Adobe Creative Suite
experience in the fintech industry, designing B2B and B2C digital products
working knowledge of Agile methodologies and accessibility standards
familiarity with design tokens, component libraries, and version control for design assets
experience designing AI-enabled or AI-assisted product experiences
