About the role

  • Perform the end-to-end monthly accounting close, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Post accounting entries, perform reconciliations, and conduct critical analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Review and validate account reconciliations with an analytical approach, identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies and autonomously resolving variances.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders involved in accounting processes to ensure alignment and the quality of information.
  • Prepare documentation and supporting reports for internal and external audits.
  • Continuously update and review the company's accounting procedures and policies, aligning them with market best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a change agent within the accounting function by proposing process improvements and strengthening integration with partner areas.
  • Lead and oversee the preparation of ancillary/statutory obligations and reports (IBGE, ECD, and ECF).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis).
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • Resilience to work in dynamic environments.
  • Emotional intelligence in interactions with different departments.
  • Agility in task execution and prioritization.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
